That's behind a 2003 X-Star.
Thanks for the replies guys! It's sure awsome to ride there, but we sometimes envy your lakes since it is hard for the lagoon to be very flat. You got to be on the water by 7:00 7:30 am if you want a butter ride...
But once I get my Yamaha I'll be able to hit different spots depending on the wind direction _________________

Nick Taylor, yes it is... exactly the same lol But not as dense and shallow, I mean we ride where the boat can go. And if the boat can pull us there then there is no way to eat the reef if we fall
liquid, Teahupoo is a reef break... When the swell is right, it makes Pipeline look like a kiddie amusement park ^^ I mean that wave is SO fat, the lip itself can be 2 meters thick (that's about 8 foot I think).
In a couple of weeks I'll have my Yamaha FX and I got some friends who are used to tow people in for surfing Teahupoo when it's fat. Maybe in a couple of months I'll send you guys some pics of a wakeskater hitting Teahupoo
Oh, and on some of the pics (the ones with the outboard engine) it's behind an old waterski mastercraft. _________________

It is a wave that breaks on a reef...
There is the Billabong pro every year there. Last year an australian Pro surfer dislocated his shoulder during the finals. A few years ago a Hawaiin killed himself there... his head was forced into his chest as he ate the reef :X
So when it's fat better not go there... Only very good locals and Laird Hamilton ride it when it's really fat eheh.
When Parks came to Tahiti he rode Teahupoo on a wakeboard, but it was a very small swell. Still mad props to him since it is still very dangerous if you fall...
Altho being pulled is different than surf towin... you don't let go of the handle
We got a few nice beach breaks with no one surfing them, so there is room for some trainin' before hitting the reef breaks on the wakeskate heh _________________
