Be extremely careful and take it wide, we almost lost a few fingers during our experimentation. If the handle gets close to the spool, let go.

Did the winch driver stop or slow it down then bring it back up mid turn? Kinda sounded like it from the audio. Maybe not tho.
Ya that first one Josh does took me by surprise. |

Ya if you listen to Nick's clips, you can hear the winch slow down in the turns, so it's key to have a good driver. You really don't need any special type of wheel, we used a cheap hardware store one at Ben's house and the inner diameter of a go-cart wheel for the one in Josh's clips. It just has to have a substantial lip on the top to prevent the line from popping off. |

yeah i could imagine the larger the spool , the better the driver, and the angle of your cut have everything to do with this being safe, and fun
did you concrete the pole in at bens while the water was out?
or just drive a 6x6 way into the ground? _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco |

We took the water pump and just drove the 4x4 in like you would any rail post. Get it in there good because after a bunch of hits it might start to lean. |

Ben had done it a long time ago but he said it was only a 90 degree. Pretty sure Josh was the first to bust the u-turn out. |
