have any of you guys tried flowboarding? Im just getting into wakeskating and feel that my background with this and skimboarding is going to help a lot.

It will for sure help with shuvs and stuff. Where do you go flowboarding? I want to try it again. I went once before I even wakeskated so I want to go now and do shuvs and stuff. But anyway yeah I know that skimboarding helps It's how I learned 360 shuvs on wakeskate.

i work/ride at the one in kissimmee called fantasy surf. Awhile ago reed hansen and a few other wakeskaters came in and were doing really good. Theres all sorts of deals going on at fantasy surf to help make it affordable for people.

Yeah I mean if you have tricks dialed on that I bet once you get a feel for wakeskating it won't be long until you can translate allot of stuff over.

haha true, the kalahari in ohio just recently made it only bodyboarding there...pretty lame. Thats like a cable park saying you can only kneeboard lol

Don't get me wrong I think these fake wave machines are cool, and super fun, but at the end of the day they feel nothing like any sort of surfing, and maybe some of the basic tricks will transfer to wakeskating. There are just really talented people who can Bs Flip an ironing board.

i know it doesnt feel like surfing, its just a method to lure people in to try it i guess. Id love to see someone backside flip an ironing board too lol
