Gnarly Dancer 42, yeah I was in the same oat until the shuv out

so it made me realize, how many snow/skate spots are out there on film

sure many people have skated the same spots, doing the same tricks but there is always another edit coming after it

no one seems to say hey, ive seen that done before so I dont want to do anything here

so as long as there is something new(even a shuv) its still progressive, even if its not much

I was expecting fliptrick to corrugated or something untterly insane

I wasn't expecting this response. I think it's a sick edit with a cool campaign; there are new angles in the vid that show just how gnarly the gap to that pipe is. And the trick he filmed, to my knowledge, is new. It's not the same old back lip from two or three years ago.

Also, the print ad, which i believe was shot by ian reid, is also very cool.

There are better things to do than hate on this.

tad, I took that as more of a general statement and obvious hate being shown towards Reed. Of course that is a repeat spot but when a rider is getting out there and promoting the sport how can someone be negative about it, just seemed a little tacky. He wasn't making wakeskating look bad, the shots/edit wasn't garbage.

I'm on the same page as electricsnow, she just conveyed her message better than my initial gut reaction response.

BB, Ya I agree with you and Esnow completely about that, this campaign is great for wakeskating and I'm stoked Fox is getting involved! They couldn't have picked a better frontman than Reed, one of the nicest dudes out there and bleeds for this sport. (Plus he's really, really good.)

dang sorry didn't mean to start so much controversy , by no means was that a direct stab at reed, although ill never forget the day he told me he only films for 2 videos a year , why would you limit yourself.

Tad i was being lazy on explaining myself and I think you pretty much covered

but anywho yea reed kills it , his backyard gap is one of the most innovative inventions in wakeskating and of oh yea did i mention he kills it on a wakeskate....

i guess i was trying to point out for how good he is , it would have been sick to see him front heel or frontbig heel palm coast since Ben has already done the most perfect heelpflip down a gap ever on that exact same spot....

no hard feelings towards reed, im sure he doesnt care what i think anyways

still a sick edit and I rather watch that, then not watch anything at all...
