hey i just went on the j-star websight and it looks like they have a wakeskate that is identical to the gate, anyone know anything about this? who rides for them.

it would be cool is jstar made that skate but changed it abit, but it doesn't look like there going to produce that skate for everyone else

i heard of sumone putting weights in the ends but i didnt no how they did it

wakeskatefooo, drill a hole in the end and stick a garden hose in there ... the foam inside will absorb the water... hense a heavyer board

wakeskatefooo, I do remember someone saying what they did with a gate.... I think they like cut out a section on the top surface and put a lead bar in there or something

you could just like buy some heavy sheet metal and then cut it to the shape of the kicktail, glue it on and then just epoxy and do everything you can think of to keep it on and that would probably work.

wakeskatefooo, buy some heavy epoxy and put some layers on the top of the skate after you take the grip off then put sk8board grip on it, I also thought about making a gate heavier to use but i ended up getting the karma
