Pretty amped on this board. Its very similar to a wooden integrity, very solid shape, perfect weight compared to the seemingly increasing heavy concave decks of the passed few years. It shuvs and performs very solid.... as for durability... i dont think this is falling apart like the majority of earlier LF's would. Its got a really great outer coat of protection and slides SOOO well. built a nice kicker and my wood deck had a few gashes in it and was catching a bit, and i thought it was the rail, and then i tried the Tao... thing slid like butter.... so perfect. I couldnt really find a complaint about this board and that something special coming from me....when talking about a LF board. If i ever need a new board, id prob go with this deck. |

I rode the larger one at the LF free for all in Cincy.
I really liked it. It takes me a while to feel out a board, so I spent most of the laps on it just edging and popping ollies. It was super fast on all the features. Has a really slow feel to getting the ollie going which I could see helping when you really learn to load the thing properly. LF was tru to their wooden concave "concave", meaning it is similar to the other flat decks with a mellow concave on top. It seemed to have a great weight as well. I only took a few laps on it before I was back reaching for my WM or Remote.
If I already didn't have a list of 6 other boards Id buy first (due to the fact I already have 3 main rides) Id pick one up. I'm just hoping my brother or friends gets one so I can ride it and not have to buy one.
Also having Mr Reed call out "blake" for me to try it out was surreal. Then I got to take a lap or two with: AReed, Danny, me, then andrew (until I fell) and that had to have been the coolest thing ever I never would have thought I would have seen them ride, or be out at the same time. Watching from the car behind danny was sick! He cut and boosted a huge back one off the front kicker (i had been trying to learn to stick the kicker all day) so (in my head) I was like I got your back DH and went for it and ate it. Thus ending the best two laps of my cable experience ever
A few ? for you brendon88

POPTART that is awesome. I have been surprised to read people say this deck is "light". It was at a cable i just rode at and i picked it up to find it seemed at least 10 lbs. I didnt ride it but it seemed like it would be a solid board. I def want to try one. Also it was interesting to see it in person, I feel like footage of it makes it look extremely thin, however it seemed at least as thick as the Impulses, without an impulse in sight to compare it to |

iv had mine since before chistmas now and i honestly thought it wasnt gonna be as good as it has been, these things are bulletbroof compared to the old impulses. i have smashed into rocks many times and it doesnt take huge chucks off i just sanded it back and its good to go again. _________________ shred till ur dead |
