Hey guys realise this might be in the wrong forum but after i posted that video last week I found something on my comp you guys might enjoy.

This is a little skate instructional i did last summer for fun. I always liked the magazine style spreads and tried to replicate that in an online format.

Would like you guys to check it out and let me know your thoughts? Changes you would like to see etc as i am thinking of doing a few more this summer down here.

Hope you like it.

i think the sequence looks amazing,,,,tight and explicative/ the format of the article looks very good, as i love the images on the borders. a shuv in the flats may be easy, but a shuv over the buoy....big time. i respect the fact that ypur teaching people how to "actuallly" -AR... pop the shuv by puttin it proper over the buoy. i feel one important step is that you lead yourself on the shuv, throwing it out in front, not directly, but at an angle toward the boat as when you leave the board you are naturally gonna be pulled back behind the boat. well done article my man.......can't wait to see more.

Hey Raven and EASTWOOD thanks for the feedback, stoked you both liked it. Raven can't believe I forgot to mention the whole leading part on the shuv, cheers for the heads up. Will go back and give it a bit of a retake and try add that in. Will keep you in the loop of the next one i do.

arcadium, first off your instructional is sick! something like this would have definately helped me learn my shuvs quicker. hopefully you have the time to create some more. i love that it's popped over the bouy, i've also been working on properly popping some bigger shuvs.

one thing i would mention following the whole leading part, which really helped me learn, is to lean back against the rope, back straight, with more weight on the back foot. doing this was the key part i was missing when learning shuvs, and its the reason the shuv is thrown in front of you. i kept flatening off with my weight centered too much and the shuv would get behind me and my body kept going.

Hey sorry for the late reply have been busy over the last week. Stoked to see more people checking it out and liking it. jdarr I'm no kickflip master myself but if I happen to get a sequence of one, then you bet your bottom dollar I'll try and put something together. southpaw thanks for pointing that out, it was something I overlooked for sure so will definietly fix it up. Funny how something so obvious sometimes goes unnoticed until it's pointed out and you think "I'm an idiot, how did i miss that".

POPTART I haven't taken the trucks out of that Zariel should I? Does it make a difference?
