well the jon boat is all good and setup and just in time too. i got my big boat back from the fiberglass shop today. she is brand new from the hull up.

Its got a new transom, main and secondary stringers, motor mounts, floor, and all. i had them leave that water soaked foam bs out. which leaves nice clean place to put my ballasts under the floor and also up front.

before going to the fiberglass shop i went through the top end of the engine, compression checks, plugs, changed all filters and fluids etc. then i rebuilt the lower gear case due to a worn dog clutch so the entire lower end has new gears bearings and seals. (if your gonna do it, do it right the first time). so she runs great, drives great, and is good to go.

i had them put some very nice light gray carpet in while they had the top cap off. so now i have a blank canvas to build the interior. then on goes the tower and wrap to finish things off.

im sure some of you guys love a good rebuild or build up like i do so ill keep this going to build pics.

Very rad. I love seeing boats get gutted and rebuilt. I'm actually on my way out the door to help my friend with his jon boat. Already gutted and repainted. Building the interior today. P.S. That is a very awkward picture. Crazy Eyes

me and my buddy put a tower on a boat like that 3 years ago and then a storm came and sank it Sad
