I was wondering if anyone has a Hyperlite 5 to 10 vest and if they like it. Does a non-USCG really matter? Also, if anyone has made a homemade wakeskate, please give me some tips and pics.

Are you allowed to board with a nonuscg? If you are, all you have to do is carry an approved one, right? Does the vest still make your upper body float?(Non-USCGA) Ive heard that they dont.
