waterboarding?

I remember some time ago when people were pushing to change the name to waterboarding because the wake had become so far removed from a lot of guys riding styles. My question is: Do you think the whole guantanamo bay torture thing put a damper on that? One gitmo guard to another, "Hey, we're going to do some waterboarding later, it should be a lot of fun."

I don't even know that the people pushing for the name waterboarding were aware of the torture name at the time.

And a question about wakeskating and its name isn't dumb either. Everything has a story.

Just a question doesn't show a lack of intelligence, but a question written by someone lacking it does. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

The only thing I can possibly imagine this thread is referring to is that lame article written by Garret Cortese or Collin Wright awhile back for Alliance. If the OP's entire knowledge of the sport is based off that article then I would eat my words. But seeing as he/she has access to the internet, and obviously WSDC, it takes no more than 2 minutes to see 99% of those articles are written purely for entertainment purposes(you don't even need to look any futher than the author's name...damn strapper).

I guess I was responding more to the amount of intelligence used to create this thread(none), then turning around and insulting other people's intelligence who arguably are more intelligent since they had to use the quote button.

To answer the original question asked, no. But I'm with the majority, show us your boobs!
