I think obscura was the best by a long shot. Editing, scenery, song, uniqueness was off the charts. It was the most like the skate and create for me.

Remote was really good riding, kind of boring though matt fvcking killlled it and everyone else too. The setup was cool, looked fun but was pretty generic i feel.

CWB: Matt manzari still kills it as well, i was suprised.

Byerly: Its what i would expect.

All teams did a good job, I think obscura deserves to win though, i wanna hear your opinions.

I loved both obscura and remote, both were super skateboardy and awesome, the remote setup looked like a ton of fun, super long nose slides.. and manny pads.. but i felt like obscura had some really progressive riding, changeups, nosegrinds to front boards, etc, and the flat bar to hippie jump!! and i love that danny hampson does 180 5-0 grinds..

the gap to backlip down the transition in the CWB vid was rad.

awesome videos, i loved 'em.

byerly needs some young blood..

Ya just like everyone said it was pretty much only between obscura and remote but I definitely went obscura. The edit was just sick and the riding felt new

Remotes was fun but obscura just nailed the thing. i did love the technic shizzle they pulled out and i'm a sucker for flip tricks any day Smile

CWB was pretty rad and i felt the need for a PBR after their edit Very Happy

Byerly..... Yup.

They were all really sick , Obscura was edited the best, remote had the best riding.
Byerlys skiboat rail was cool, CWB's fire gap thing was awesome and that kickflip into the bank was sweet.

Byerly - Boat obstacle and ladder rails were pretty nasty and GD shreds. Music selection? Ehhh....

Obscura - Amazing videography and vibes (as usual), everyone killed it, and those hippy hops off the rail were absolutely absurd; that shizzle was crazy.

Remote - Fun video, the skate style set up was really sick, and the riding was classifiable as nothing less than super shredder status.

CWB - America. Fück¡ng badass.

Making a decision between Obscura, Remote, and CWB was a quite a challenge.

Overall, awesome event, riding was great, good job to all the riders, filmers, editors, and Transworld for putting it all together.

Remote was best for me but Obscura was well sick too..
I thought Byerly's was surprisingly good, not that they don't have a good team but I think they all rode a lot better than I usually see on their edits.
All the videos were really good and I hope more stuff like this happens Smash

byerly: def stuck with the theme well. really used the props well i though with the incline ladder and flatbar ladder and boat was def sick and the riding was solid. it's an older group of riders but they are still progressing and learning new tricks which you have to give props to.

obscura: i had to pick my jaw off the ground. it showed me a dif side of them because i'm use to seeing the typical behind the boat and flats trick and to see them KILLLLL the nugs and the creativeness of the hippie jump was innovative.and they really told a story with the editing.

CWB: reminded me of what the DEFY guys did at radar like with the kicker into a pool on a hill but it was some good riding!! had a good theme but thought they could have done a little more

remote: had the usual skate style we expect from them. had a good theme and cool idea to do the black and white. felt like they could have pushed it a little more.

i totally liked, how D&C was a nice oportunity to catch each company's vibe. like how they set up their themes, obstacles, intro (to point out obscura) and how they threw down.

byerly was sort of disappointing. not that the skating wasn't ill, but i'm just not digging their style. wakeskating and ghetto hip-hop style just don't mix imo. compared to the other brands, the effort that went into producing their flic just doesn't seem as high.

cwb was way too redneckish - even though you could easily think it was set up to be somewhat ironic/ cheezy. just not doing it for an european like me. the skating itself was a little monotonously. not that they threw down hard on that gap, just didn't do it for me.

obscura sorta blew my mind. i didn't quite know what to expect. their technical and creative skating, coupled with the scenery and cinematography made it a well rounded flic that definitely stands out from the other two.

yet again remote didn't dissapoint. imo best all around concept. that scenery and skate setup had the most work put into and the skating itself was nutzo! i'm a skateboarder so i'm totally digging the techy and super stylish skating they are showcasting in their part. so for me, their edit was the best.

Obscura then byerly as a second for sure.

Not everyone needs to rock the cut offs and tie die. Plus using a boat as an obstacle instead of a pull symbolizes a lot and when you through a varial off it too == hammer

Never got boring to watch, everyone was flowing it looked like. Just super good all around from all teams and riders. Makes me wanna ride super bad, everyone was having so much fun it looked like

Anybody else notice that when the shot was from above, the Remote obstacles were in the shape of the Remote symbol? I thought that was pretty cool.

These videos were amazing, and I'm so glad this event happened. May there be many more to come. Very Happy

I was surprised with Byerly's vid, it was way better than i had anticipated. Tough choice but my vote is with obscura. Can't wait for the next event!

It's hard to look at this project as a contest because at the end of the day.. every team came out with an insane video AND gets magazine coverage.. and our sport will be showcased on the cover.

It's kind of disappointing that some people are hating on ANY of this. Everyone involved poured their blood into this project. Everyone killed it and had something unique to bring to the table. We only had THREE days per team. That is literally NO TIME. It was a challenge for sure... anyone who has been at the projects for an hour knows how rough it is out there. We were putting in 14 hour days, sometimes working till 4 in the morning.

Look at this project as a whole and how good it is going to be for wakeskating. Next year will be 10 times better because we'll know exactly what to expect and hopefully have a little more time and money.

I can't even come close to taking the credit for these videos. Everyone was involved. It was a group effort and will go down as one of the sickest projects I'll ever be a part of. Thanks to everyone who came to the premiere, it was awesome seeing all of you guys out there.
