I'm headed down there in a couple weeks and was looking for things to do. I don't have ANY plan, just a plane ticket so i'm wondering where to go in the country for a good riding spot. Who's been there?

Culp, There is a "Wakeboarding Costa Rica Nautique" there. Search facebook, they have a page.

Witches rock is epic as well......just take plenty of camping gear

Those are my favorite spots........I've traveled the whole country if u have any q,s......light me up

go to the find a pull section. i remember there was a few guys who rode on lake arenal, and if ur going to go there for our spring time, Playa Negras has some of the sickest surf on the west coast. witches rock is amazing as well.

Witch's rock is mind blowing. I got more barrels there in a three day stretch than I did for the next three years. We Chartered a big sailboat instead of camping. Lots of fun.
