I have the Centurion, I don't know how you found it that cheap though. I got mine in 2001 for about 70 grand Canadian.
I think it's a sick boat, the wake is really good for wakeskating. It's not too steep, and it has a little lip at the top that pops you up. You don't have to have the weight distributed perfectly to keep the wake even on each side, which is nice compared to Nautiques and Moombas cause they seem to need to be perfectly balanced in my experience.
A guy I know has that Moomba and I've ridden behind it a couple of times. The wake is nice and clean even if you weight the boat down a lot, but it's harder to keep the wake even on each side like I said before.
I'd say the boats are pretty even as far as wake goes. I'm not sure how much weight you need in the Moomba to have a good size wake, the one I rode behind had 3 350 pound fat sacks in it, and the wake was massive. In my boat (the Centurion), we just ride with the stock ballast and 6 to 8 18 litre water jugs, plus 5 or 6 people and the wake is really nice.
The Centurion is finished really nicely inside with high quality materials, which is the one major thing that I think is better than the Moomba. The Moomba just seems cheap, with a fibreglass swim platform instead of teak and stuff like that.
I've ridden behind pretty much everything, Nautiques, Malibu, Moomba, Calabria, and I ride behind an X-Star and Centurion regularly.
Even between the X-Star and the Centurion I prefer the Centurion cause it's easier to get a decent sized wake and the shape of the wake keeps the board on your feet easily.
Sorry for the really long post, I just thought you could use some good information to decide which boat is better.
I'd go with the Centurion personally.

Damn, I just realized the Moomba and Centurion you're talking about are direct drive.
The Moomba and Centurion I was talking about are V-Drive's...
But I guess you can still get the idea. That Centurion is still probably finished nicer.

Mumble, but is your centurion a wakeboard boat because the only problem is that the centurion is a ski/wakeboard with a tower but its mostly a ski boat and the moomba is a wakeboard boat!

yeah mine's a wakeboard boat, so I don't really know what to tell you.
If I were you, I'd try riding behind both boats if possible, or even just go for a ride in them and take a look at the wake.
