| I don't understand. The place has been buried for 15 plus year and now its a big deal if they build a road over it? If the place was the big of a deal why not do something a little sooner than after they start construction.

Back in the 90's, skate parks were far and few. After it closed nobody cared because skate boarding is not like it is today.
All the young kids have no idea what people went through so that parks exist today especially in the midwest.

| The city burried our OG park a few years ago. It wasn[t much, but still sort of interesting becsue it probably cost as much to cover up as it took to build it. The half pipe had a 4 foot flat bottom.

bachlonso sounds like you know what's up!
& Jacque, it's a half hour from my place, you basically go right past it when you come here...which by the way, are you today?
8 ft. clover bowl, concrete coping, 9 ft. keyhole, concrete coping, 11 ft. capsule with 2 ft. extensions, 6 ft. round bowl (The Footie) with comma roll-in, 4 ft. lipslide gulley ... I suck at skateboarding but would love to take my bigboy (longboard) out to do some Surfin Turf!
grabbed a quick photo by goggling...
