I rode a 10 40.5 SST today and seriously loved it. Great feel to it. So my question is, what's the difference in the 09/10's? If nothing is different, I might try to pick up an 09 for a little cheaper. But I definitely want one now... loved the composite bilevel feel.

Try to buy one of 2010.
They are more durable than the 09s.
(I think LF made the connection stronger and used washers.)

I'm riding mine for ages and never had problems with it.. Smile

i had a 42 09. loved it. got the 10 hampson, so down a size, and love it. far as i know it 's the same as the 40.5 09 except they reinforced the mounting scenario. it's way more reliable for sure in 10. my buddy sent his 09 back because the bottom mounting piece came out. the base on the 10 seems better imo, i've slid it a bunch of times and it doesn't seem to get as banged up. I thought the 10's were suppose to both be a-sym, but mine is the same tip and tail. the 10's are def the way to go.

I really wish I would've tried the skate and then scored the deal you got... I have found one for around 280 but I wanted to get it around 250. Hmmm... pull the trigger?
