has anyone ordered off their website recently and actually received their board? the decks look sick and the price isn't bad at all, and with the special they are supposably having this month, i'm tempted to order a board.

However, i have heard on here in past that people paid for a board and waited an outrageous amount of time to get their purchase or maybe didnt even end up getting it. I just got through dealing with this kind of problem from New, and DO NOT want to have to go through it again so i was just seeing if Devotid was going to do this as well or what.

Kevin @ Devotid has been doin everything it takes to correct service issues in the past. Jake Sloan is really helping Kevin on the buisness side of it so boards can be pressed, cut, shaped, sanded and painted alot more rapidly.
I was out at their shop a few weeks ago and I was super impressed by the increase in overall professionalism that Devotid is striving for.

Out of the many boards that have gone out to customers in the past 5 years, there have been like 2 people who have had issues with Devotid boards and everything was done to try and satisfy.

Jake has been doing a great job getting boards out. I bet that your gonna get your deck same week or defiantly within 7 days. All of the new shapes are awesome and look out for all the new nub and truck stuff coming soon from eclectic.

There was one story on here in which a guy said he didn't get his skate. It was TWG, he might post in this thread and give his input on the matter.

In total I think he received 3 boards,(maybe more, I hand delivered one to him) but had originally pre-ordered a prototype board Kevin was working on that after a little testing we decided not to sell as we didn't feel it was ready. In TWG's defense, the pre-order probably shouldn't have been up before all the testing was done. But he did receive more than he paid for just not that exact board from the pictures. He is a good guy but just being a little bit bitter, I think at his request he even received one of the prototype boards with the understanding that Kev wasn't happy with it.

Bottom line Kev is awesome and you don't have to worry about him ripping you off. I have no idea how fast your board will ship but the last thing Kevin is going to do is take your money and run.

I ordered one and got it super quick. They even did so much as to customize the board for me slightly. I liked the board and shape but not the size so I told them the size I wanted and boom got it. I dont know if they will do that for anyone but I have been riding for a LONG time and never experienced service like that. The board looks F_ING sick too, i am very impressed, much more than I thought I would be and the board aint breaking, let me tell ya.

I have been trying to e-mail lately them about ordering a new top-deck, but their e-mail appears to be f'd up right now as I keep getting error message back.

I trust them with my money, but personally, I would hold off until they straighten everything out...

I just ordered the 40" Russell Brightwell yesterday. I've been riding my K-39 for about 4 years now and am really looking forward to this deck.

Frye, I actually got 4 boards 3 of which broke within minutes of being in the water. The last one I got from you is still good probably only because I never put it to water. Regardless those boards were not what I wanted or paid for. Anyways thats the past man and Devotid actually has a few riders/employees I respect so I'm done with this BS. I hope nothing but the best for those guys and hopefully over the last couple years they learned how important customer service and good communication is.

mojo, those boards I got were not the same boards as you would be buying. Kevin just made those so myself and a few others would have something to ride. Unfortunately they didn't work out. If your stoked on the boards get one. I'd suggest a brightwell.

you didnt hear that from people....just one guy that spoke for everyone.......or thought he did.

we fk-ed up on three orders out of almost 700 now. i like to tell people....as it says on the web site shipped in 7-10 days or your money back"

This Ish happened almost two years ago also......were a different company now.

i received my board the week after it was ordered, came with stickers and a dvd, and couldn't have been more pleased with the way it rides. i've gotten way more consistent with my 3 shuvs and other such tricks, and wake to wake it is great. if you're thinking about getting one of these skates, there is no need for hesitation.
