Im brand new to the world of wakeskating. Im looking to get my first board but I need some help deciding what to get. Im 6' 1" and 170 pounds, I have no idea what size board I should get to start off with. I will need a board to just use for casual use. I would also need the price to be between 100-200 dollars. Ive heard about you need shoes to ride, is this mandatory or can you barefoot it. If you guys have any suggestions tell me. |

i would go with something between 40-41. 42 is manageable but not as fun. you could probably find a nice used board from a member on here that would be better than a flat deck, but you could definitely have fun on a flat for a long time. and yes you need shoes on foam or grip. basically any shoe designed for skateboarding will work well. for about 35$ more you could get a wood works and they are supposed to be very nice skates. you could also look around on alot of online retailers and find close outs on last year's models. try perfski.com, buywake.com, boardstop.com, woodworkswakeskates.com, and the list goes on. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be.
