WOW great shot.
I had an amazing experience last year around this time when i was flying back to Florida from Maryland. There was a shuttle launch for Cape Canaveral and from the plan we were able to see it launch straight up and go right past us, it looked alot closer then it really was but that was one of the coolest thing i had ever unexpectedly gotten to see. Everyone was shooting pics with their phones and what not, luckily i was at the window on the right side to see it all perfectly from launch till it was higher then i could see. Ill never forget that. |

dude I think I was in that same spot for the launch that was supposed to happen during surf expo. me and some friends surfed cocoa the day before and someone said something about it happening the next day, we figured what the hell let's drive down and see it and came home to some other friends watching armagedon at the launch seen. It was sealed. we drove down, got turned away by nasa trying to drive too close...twice. then just parked on the side of the rode, saw a path and walked down it. When we came out of the jungle we had a clear shot straight to the shuttle over some body of water. We turned the corner on the beach and saw some model in a bikini holding a Sine wakeboard for a photoshoot for their board appropriately called the Launch. After smoking and drinking and waiting for a few hours they finally scrubbed it for weather and I was leaving the next morning. dammit.
I vowed on the way back (hammered and all) that I was going to see a shuttle launch....I got 4 more chances. Who else is in?? |

sick shot ej. i went out the first night when it got scrubbed and didn't think it would launch the next night since the weather seemed about the same. o well i'll just have to settle for a rocket launch at night. _________________ HOTDOGS! |
