You can get different weights. I thought mine was relatively heavy in my hands, but on the water youll never feel it because its pop is insane, and it stays right under you without having to huck it infront of you much like those other lighter composite type decks. I think what makes it seem heavier is the epoxy glassed on in many layers to protect it. Very solid.

hayden reybolds, Mine is the exact same as the one you would get online and i just weighed it and it came in at 9.5 lbs.

hayden reybolds, the ones online just have a blue pigment color thats the only difference. we can do most of the normal color schemes.
