this is the most fun skimming i have EVER had. i've skimmed vilano's waves, st augustine, kure beach, the outer banks, you name it. But this inland skim sesh I had was by far the most fun ever. I was out in Seattle for a month and my girlfriends cousin said that we should go check out haworth park which is located in everett washington to go do some skimming. Once we got there we noticed some dudes just shredding this little freshwater stream that goes into the ocean. I mean they were popping shuvs so high that they were grabbing them in the air. Anyways, story is this beach is only there when the tide is out, so everytime the tide comes back in they have to take a shovel and literally dig this stream out. It's a natural stream but they have to make it larger to skim. They throw in rails and everything. Some of the coolest dudes i've ever met.
they were all riding these inland skimboards called DB (dashboards, sorry sam collet haha) made right in Tacoma washington. probably the sickest flatland skimboard i have ever stepped on. i stuck one of the cleanest most popped 3 shuvs i've ever done on that board.
if you're ever in the seattle area try to make your way to haworth park!

word. good stuff.
couple old photos of me. i don't ride flatland too much anymore, only if i find a really good spot. i'm more into waves. i love flatlanding don't get me wrong but there's no comparison vilano or the OBX on a good day. those places pump whenever they go off.
