MUTINY(YYYY) (On the bountyyyy)...

I'm sure some of you might be interested in seeing these. I recently picked up a mutiny wakeboard for my collection, which inspired me to get the others together for a picture. (on a side note, one other may or may not be on display at the liquid playground.) This is the mutiny that came before 99% of wakeskating.com's current population. Laughing

(referring to the way all boards were shaped then. but do respect your shapes and lack of gimmicky add-ons... and badass, but i dont know who was behind that)

i had a "badass" wakeboard. had a mushroom on the bottom. that thing is still at my friends house. is there a story i'm missing about that?

bad ass was a dumb name for a company. speaking of gimmicks, i was wondering. let's use nick taylor for example. he's doing w2w 3's heel side and toeside, front side and backside, and just all around getting air and killing it on a board that has a small channel and no cupped rails or anything and for him no fins. my questions is why do almost no wakeboards have a bottom shape like this?

that's a good point. the only board i can think of with a flat bottom is the slingshot boards(havn't seen company in person). does integ. press their boards by chance?

btw, i don't strap anymore but one of my first wakeboards was an HL 2000 Belmont...
with a huge DRAGON on it.

Bad ass was herbie fletcher's, and it's a surfing brand...

I think my favorite board is the one with the flames because the materials on the board are different and I think it's older. But I do like the graphics in the three bars on the blue deck...

Bad ass was DRAGON-BOY's part (no joke) in "All or Nothing" at OWC and at Scott's house.

I need to correct myself. Astrodeck is the surf brand, and bad ass was like the wake division of that. Either way, it's all herbie fletcher's.

Paul, what a strange direction in conversation. I remember seeing him (appear; I don't think there was much riding) in the snap "day in the life" thing but don't recall him in All or nothing.
