because ive heard of the 6's and 8's loosing speed when cutting or trying to pull a trick off like witha layback and i want a little power... i was going to get a yankmeister gen 2 with 11 hp but dude who makes them is on a wakeboarding trip in mexico till next month and our jet skii broke and i am going insane... i need to skate

11hp is a total waste. too heavy and too expensive. 6.5hp is all you need unless you are 200lbs+

Actually the board can affect it too. Our friend couldn't get enough speed with a 6.5 and a TAV on his Omen which is 5-stage and he is like 170 or so.

Mr. Top Hat, i was just saying that because some guys i ride with that are over 200lbs can get up behind a 6.5hp but the winch cant pull them fast enough for a good ollie onto a rail.

what kind of winch you ridin?? i dont wanna get a 6.5 and then you know drank a little more than usual for a couple of months get high get the munchies then pow im over 200 lbs.. then im 1500$ down you know what im sayin plus the yankmeister gen 2 is 11 hp for only 1400 $ i havent even seen a 6.5 hp for cheaper than that
