Spray Painting my longboard

Ima spray paint my long board and i was just wondering if this is gunna come out good:

First im going to sand it down a bit,
2nd primer it.
3rd Paint it!

then i want to do that dishwasher soap effect thing

after that i just wipe the soap off i guess?

Then is there something i should put ontop of the final coat? any protecting spray or anything? Let me know!!! thank you
