counterpart, Sounds like fun man. Don't worry about how long it takes people to land whatever. Sounds like you are super stoked to ride your new deck. Get down there and have a blast getting to know your new deck!

counterpart, a small tip from me. Go out, warm up, do ollies, boardieslides, whatever you do on a regular basis. Then, just start throwing them one after the other, just get up and fall like 20-30 seconds later.

If you just do them over and over, concentrating on how you fell (did I throw it in front too much, land with my feet too narrow, or pop the shuvit without coming off my edge?) then you will be hitting them in no time.

pyroskater00, Alright sounds good. Thats what i was going to do. Get out, get acquainted with the board and just mess around. Then try a couple ollies and BS. Then ill just try them. I have only riden once(Wow i get into shizzle fast) and it was ubber rough so all i tried were some ollies and stuff. So im basically starting from ground 00!

definately get the feel for how the water feel sunder the board, and how it reacts when you push down into it before you start doing shoves.

Just ride.
ollies

BS shuv-its
If i get BS ill try FS
if i get those or feel stupid, ill try K-flip or 360 shuv... but i doubt that will happen!

Sagittorious, Good piont. I just have to do new stuff though... thats how ma brain works. Haha! Like just riding around is fun and all, and slowly learning them is probably better than learning faster(also alot less painfull) but my brain tells me I have to try something! But i might also be under estimating it and prolly cant even get close to the shuv-it.... oh well!

Well im in AR and my board came in yesterday. After an 8hr flight(Was supposed to be 4) I was WAY to tired today. I got up rite away but after switching the side of the boat were the rope was tied to, i couldnt get up! IDK why. Just tired to shizzle. Will give it another try in a lil bit. The new board is AMAZING! It rides so nice. Though when i would go to ollie(Rope was on wrong side so this could be it) the board would come off the water, but it just felt weird to me. Like really unatuaral. Im finless and was thinking about throwing on the rear fin to see if it helps. But IDK. Other than that i got surface 180s(Really easy), little ollies, and kinda want to try the body varial thingy soon but idk. I still gotta get used to the board.

Any tips on how to get my ollies cleaner and feel a little better, aswell as higher??
