I use non wake shoes. I have some airwalks i got from ross for $20. If I can't find them I use any old skate shoes I have laying around (have a tote full) and they work fine. I worried about my shoes floating too but last two times my shoes have fallen in to the lake and they floated fine.

damn. that sucks.

the bad part of wake shoes that I don't like is that they fall apart. I had a pair of reefs and after they tore apart after half of a summer I gave up on wake shoes. But that is just my opinion.

-=AlexXx=-, do you have any idea if they float? or if they feel like they're too heavy when wet?

dscsk8er55, i think its a little bit of both Laughing

You might want to check out the Ando's buy Fox. They have a good grippy sole, comfy. I have only had them in the water 3 times. By far they are better than Byerlys, mine also fell apart.
I do like my DVS shoes they also wear well. I also have the Nike morgan and they are starting to show wear in less then a year but have been a good shoe.

You need to try the Fox shoes, they can't be all that bad, R. Hanson wears them. Smash

Gnarly Dancer 42, Goofy? Most of the wake shoes out there are goofy looking. Those UGP clown shoes take the cake and my wife owns a pair of them, Rolling Eyes

The air mogans are goofy to, but you can always find some board shorts to go with them, Cool

UGP's last a long time, float, and they streach if you grow. Mine are size 9 and I wear a nike size 11.

I've been in the same pair of regular Cush since December until last weekend, they float very well and are really durable...
