im gonna start building a winch once i have the resources and need a good design for the frame. i was looking around for inspiration and i came upon the pulldozer, and i really like the design, as it is very minimal. would it be super terrible for me to base my winch off a similar design or should i just stay away from that? lol just wondering

do what works best for you. figure out what you like/don't like and what materials you have and get after it! Mine is a frankenstein monster of different design elements that I liked.

No harm in copying what you like the best,
goto Iwinchglobal.com and look at the galleries of winches
lots of inspiration there....
