I got to ride an arson yesterday and OMG was is soooo much more than i expected. i knew it was going to be well built and slick visually but i normally expect a little bit of awkwardness that first run and that was totally absent. board just sticks to your feet, the concave is so sexy feeling, overall GREAT product. SleuCrew, good stuff man. I am just completely impressed with what you've brought to the industry

can those who have rode the concave give me some info on the actual concave. does it start close in ?i wear a size 9 and like alot of concave to lock my feet into. i like the integ. concave, but personally would like just a little more. and lets say i order today how long would it take to ship out?
by the way, having grown up on hyperlite gear for almost a decade im very happy to be able to have a handful of quality rider owned companies to choose from.

wakeshredder, The discount is essentially for the product launch, first time customers to Arson. After we ship the pre order decks the price will go up to $349.00 in the shops.

If you remember the Revolt was offered at $289 initially, the price then went up to $319.00, some shops even more.

The main reasons for the cost increases from when I was building the Omen deck is the materials that are used and how the board is built, I think most anyone who's ridden the two boards can tell you there is a night and day difference from the Omen decks compared to what were doing now with Arson. Just to give you an example, the wood used in these decks is almost 3x the cost of the wood I used in the Omen decks, the Nylon top sheets just about double in comparison to the plastics used on the Omen stuff and the addition to the carbon fiber parts used in these decks is something that was never present in the old Omen boards. Thats just a couple examples of why we can't offer a deeper discount... Every material used in the Arson decks is top of the line.

I thought a $60.00 discount was pretty fair.

wakeshredder, I think you are misunderstanding... Arson and Omen are two different brands, considering you couldn't buy anything from Arson before, everybody is a first time customer... I don't want to speak for SleuCrew, but I'm pretty confident that it's for everyone who pre-orders... he's not excluding people who owned Omens.

I can't believe how cheap people are... No one is getting rich making and selling wakeskates, but people are going to b*tch if they don't get a discount

ya if you pre order you get the cheaper price. the next time you get one you wont or after the pre order ends. i beg to differ. you don't go into business to lose money unless your a complete moron. while he might not become a multi millionaire selling arson's, he could carve out a nice nitch that will allow him to do what he loves and get paid for it. thats how herb o'brien started. and the guy who owns either barts or overtons started by selling gloves out of his car. selling a quality skate that will last a while will keep people coming back.
