Does anyone else do this or the real thing? I just opened up an account today with Howthemarketworks.com to learn more about stocks and the market. I currently have shares with Walmart, Kraft, GM, Mcdonalds, Bank of America, Fastenal, and Microsoft.

You should check out the book Rule #1 if you want to learn more about stocks/investing. It's pretty good. I did a little "paper trading" cause I'm too poor for the real thing. One day...

Birthday I did sell GM and made some "money" off them. I'm ahead $121 so far. The site starts you out with $10,000 and i have a little under 4,000 left to spend. The rest is in stocks.
