i found a liquid force skate for pretty cheap and its the size i want and everything but its a foam top. and i really like grip tape instead. can i take off the foam and put on tape easily.

umm my friend did that and it works if u get good grip tape just the board dosnt float as welll but it still floats fine

Do you have to sand it down at all? I can't imagine that the grip tape would stick all that well to the really slick plastic top of compression molded skates
