12 hp winch ?

So I'm thinking about building a 2nd winch just for a little project a buddy of mine has a 12hp Briggs that he's just basically giving to me I'm planning on building it with a cc instead of a tav. A 12hp winch with a cc should deep water start with no problem shouldn't it ?

fo sho i think the yankmeister uses a 13hp and has no problem.

What I've decided to do is put the 12 horse on the winch I already have and build a small winch for my 8 horse to go on so I can have a big f-er for normal use and a smaller one for stealth missions Wink

dont use a cc they are complete crap, all it will do is slip and also lock up.

hmmmm well balls . . . . Maybe I'll stick with the TAV setup I've had really good luck with mine so far
