I know it has come up before concerning removing the center bolts to change the ride of the SST.

Has anyone added risers to their SST to create more of a traditional bi-level feel?

yeah i toyed with mounting some washers in between the decks just purely to preserve the bottom deck that was getting serous wear around the bolts anyways .... but i never rode it with the washers between the decks ....i just took a long screw and stacked washers till it filled the threads

but idk if it would really change anything other than how fast it would be before the bottom deck flexed too much and snapped

just use 4 bolts ( i think there is more snap* but who knows) there is really no point in the center two

that seemed to affect the way i felt it rode more than i think raising the top deck from the water would do

In theory it would cause the top deck to bow in the middle when pushing on the nose or tail, reducing the stiffness and pop.
