| I'm not in the in-circle. How does this have to do with Malibu? Is this a division of them? I wouldn't want to be starting a boat company right now. |

looks like they took the squareness of a tige and the picklefork of a mastercraft, but still looks like a sick boat and the price tag is a smart move in this economy. i dont like the tower that much but malibu is still my favorite boat company _________________ 941 |

| I think the market that would buy a more economy-minded boat has been taken away in the last few months. The vast majority can either afford a nice, expensive boat, or no boat at all. |

Jama- Axis is sort of a redheaded step child type of offshoot from Malibu. It's aimed at the 'budget' end of things so it'll be comparable to Moomba/Supra/Centurion etc. That picklefork design is something that Malibu would NEVER do, hence the redheaded stepchild comment. Also, for awhile there's been a lot of murky explanations as to what is actually going on with this (at least with my contacts there are/were, which is reflected in my posts on that thread that was linked in the original post).
IMO- It looks like someone gave an outside design team access to all of Malibu's resources to see what they could come up with. I'm not a fan of the styling, but based on what you're gonna get for ~$40K, I'm sure they'll sell pretty well once the economy turns around a bit. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

If the knoxville guys are so good, why are the first molds of this thing being done at the merced plant? _________________ Scuba Steve's Wakeskate Film Libray |

Their website is about as entertaining as the boat. I was wondering what motor was in it? PCM, Indmar etc.. What kind of resale value would this gem bring?
The saying goes, you get what you pay for. I would look around before laying down the coin for this AXIS. Base is 39,900, pictured is 44,000? They must be charging you 4000.00 for a tower.
Basic boat, stripped = 39,000. I bet the trailer is 5,000. _________________ In just two days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday. |
