bamboo is pop. The snowboard industry is using it as well for its snap and durability. It is also sustainable as it grows abundantly and fast. It is basically a weed. It is popular in the building industry for it's environmentally friendly attributes and it looks good and holds up well. Go for the bamboo support bamboo and integrity.

i like my bamboo ide say if your gonna get one spend the extra money. to me the extra weight makes a difference it makes the board feel more balanced on everything to me.

I've never ridden a bamboo... however don't you think that there is a reason that people pay a premium for the bamboo core?

I know I've read through the ENTIRE thing till I found what I was looking for at least twice. Just a suggestion/bit of advice: some users find it very annoying when there are a billion threads started over a subject already discussed, and then will give you a hard time about it. Your fairly new so I understand, but a little research will help you out alot and will give you some respect.

eviltweak, either one is a great deck. you rode my bamboo tnt so you know about the shape and all. if you want to save some money, get the team.
i feel the regular core sits higher on the water which makes it feel looser. the regular core is still really stiff and responsive(more so then any other brand's composite deck) but just a tad less then the bamboo.
