look at each manufacturer's sizing chart and that should answer your question (the charts should be on their respective websites). and if you're looking at a specific brand, like o'neill as an example, you WILL want to check out that sizing chart... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

a dry suit and a full suit?
i'd say at 60 degrees all you'd need is a wetsuit, depending on how well you can handle cold water, either a full wet suit or a spring wet suit.
a dry suit is for super super cold water. |

I need to get a wet suit for this highly anticipated Florida winter this year.
And by that I mean, the 1-2 month period in which it gets a little cool. |

eviltweak, i prefer wetsuits for wakeskating. i feel like i can move my legs better.
if you go with a drysuit make sure the seals fit right. if its loose you will be wet and cold |

& if you get it and it doesn't fit, you can get some custom rb's to make it tight, right es? _________________ thrashdad.com |

labellethrasher, Yes.
because even though I have an extra small boost dry suit (I was going for that MC hammer stee), the wrist cuffs do not fit my wrists. Rubber bands were the obvious form of modification... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

| 60 degrees and you really don't need anything more than a 3/2 fullsuit. Wetsuits today are much better than they were in the past. Most 3/2's today will keep you almost completely dry and just as warm as say a 4/3 of a couple years ago. I recommend trying on a couple different companies suits till you find what fits your body best. Don't base your decision only on name brand. I work for Rip Curl, and their suits happen to fit me well and are extremely warm and flexible, but if I didn't feel like they fit me I would try another suit. Your best bet is to go into several different shops and try on suits till you find the one you like the best, don't compromise comfort for style. |

| Soulprogression hit the nail on the head when it comes to wetsuits. They all fit different so try a bunch on and get the one that fits best. Another thing, don't go cheap. The difference between a $125 and $300+ suit is major. A top of the line suit will have more flexable materials, blindstiched/glued/taped seems, and often a better fit. All of these things add up to a much warmer, more pleasurable time in the water. |
