short or long board ?

what do you prefer : long or short boards for cable Park riding?

welcome i see you are new here, last time i was riding cable i was riding a 41 but now i like riding small boards like 38.

lud, i ride the same board for cable as i ride on boat. its all just what do you like in general. the only thing i recommend is that if you ride at a slow cable. do not ride a bi-level.

Yeah i can't stand my devotid 38 on cable. way too short. i ride like 26-28 behind boat/ski on that thing, while cables at TSR run like 19-20 i think? My omen is a 40.5 which is fine for when i ride cable. I actually dig that type of a rocker on cable too. It works well with the high towing point and slow speeds.

So i guess behind a boat/ski i like short ass boards, while on cable, and sometimes behind a winch, i like them a bit longer.

I like smaller boards behind cable b\c you are going slower and don't have a wake/lip to pop off of...longer boards behind boat...ski, don't really care...

I prefer small boards everywhere, but you will get all sorts of different answers. I would try both and see what you like best. Welcome to the forums.

I like a little bigger board for rail and shorter for everything else.... The longer board on rails lets to bone more I think... I like to bone!!
