I just got braces!! :(

they are already starting to hurt and i am really pissed!!

it is also really hard to eat my food Mad

anyone have any funny stories or something to say about braces?

I had braces in junoir high. After a couple of weeks, I grabbed some pliers and some scirrors and took the wire out. My parents were sooooo pissed.

I had them, it will hurt for about 48-72 hours and all you can eat is like apple sauce and shizzle.

Then it will hurt again everytime you go in to get them tightened.

It is worth it though, my smile = amazing!!

glad my teeth are naturally nice, i think it's a scam anyway they make little kids get them before their teeth are even growing all the way in, and their parents are dumb enough to pay for it, such a rip off.

I just got mine off after awhile even when they tighten them it doesnt hurt

How old are you? I had them in middle school for maybe 2 years, sucks but you'll be happy you have nice teeth afterwards. Like gporter said, sore for the first 48-72 and each month or so when you get them tightened, sore for a day. Kind of feels good to chomp down real hard though doesn't it? Smile

well i got braces then i had impacted teeth poitning upward meaning i had 4 teeth im my gums headed to my brain so i went got surgery they cut the roof of my mouth out put braces on the teeth impacted then stitched me up and gave me lots of oxycotten now i have like the most fizzle up mouth with wires and hardware in the roof of my mouth and randomley my mouth bleeds it realy fun

one time i put my retainer in a yogurt cup at a motocross race and my dad threw it away, we realized when we got home and my dad had to drive back over an hour each way at like 1am, just so they wouldnt have to buy new ones. i was being a lil babychild and said i wouldnt wear em lol, we soaked em in listering for a day and i had to wear em. but i havent worn them shlts for years

I never really had any pain from my braces. I had them for 2 years, and the first day I got them on I jumped out of a tree onto a trampoline and my knees gave out and they hit my mouth. My braces cut my lip open pretty bad and there was blood everywhere. Laughing
