I caught the So Cal stop, and it was great. However, I have to disagree on Pepper being better live. I've seen both bands a lot (Pepper 10+ and S.S 20+). To me, Pepper doesn't bring anything special to the plate. They sound the same most of the time (song to song). Slightly Stoopid on the other hand, outdo themselves every time, and you have no idea where they'll go with it next.
