ive been interning at a film studio for a while now and we just picked up a brand new Mac Pro Desktop with 10gigs of memory, 500g hard drive (to go along with our 25tb of server space, not including externals), two 22in 1080i Samsung monitors, and a 45" Vizio. it makes rendering amazing.

heh I wasn't the one buying the system..definitely in a good spot though, we hired another intern that has a masters in film and I'm teaching him stuff..apparently the university near us sucks for film. the guy was saying in college they made 4 productions. I have been with this place since February and I've been on the set of over 20 commercials and most recently we shot a soccer tournament in Arkansas and I got the chance to edit some of the game highlights..nothing special but it was kinda cool seeing something I did air on Fox Soccer Channel...now if only I could find time to capture the video I took on my trip to Lake Ouachita
