I used to ride with fins and just switched to no fins today. No fins feels so much better. _________________ "Wakeskating is...not fun. Its about getting in the water, landin your effin tricks and gettin out."

bass69, any type of fin will work the most important thing is that you fill all fin holes.......with fins
i personally have 2 tracking fins, 4 sliding fins, and a set of nugs _________________ http://sarasota941.blogspot.com/ |

| Ya know, my boy Andrew said it right in FLWAKE when asked what a newcomer to wakeskating should do by stating "stay off wakeskating .com". Chill on the guy you bunch of prima donna pricks. Ya'll know he's a noob so cut him some slack. Sorry he doesn't know every post and reply on here. Remember, scensters kill scene's, quit pizz'n in you own pots! |

hes new and has me in his sig! thats awsome!
ill answer u seriously!
finless! and if not, its a personal thing, shave/grind/whatever fin u have down as small as u can without it disapearing, and thats good. if ur having a hard time tracking...learn to eadge better, and ull not worry about big fins anymore.
and for the record, the bj was from tampa jimie not i, i use teeth, he doesnt |

and I agree with dirty cracker. Wakeskating is for individuals--ride, experiment and determine your own path. You can choose how much or how little fin you want, what direction you decide to progress, etc. There is not an instructional manual. But as far as today's fin sizes go, a lot of boards tend to come with a one incher or something slightly shorter.
EDIT: I cleaned up all of the lame posts on this thread. If a new kid has questiosn about wakeskating, sincerely try to help or just don't say anything at all. Thanks. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I rode with two fins at first, then one in the back, then none at all. Try everything but give all choices an equal chance or you might pass something up that you really like. As you progress, try different fin configurations, boards, etc. so you can expand your knowledge as to what features and preferences you like and don't like. _________________ - Evan Molina |
