First off realize I am a little high writing this and I love all sports and am working for one of the wakeskate and wakeboard companies as an intern....
My life is hilariously awesome right now. I went to work today at 11 am because my boss had to go pick up something from our boss. I browsed wakeskating and wakeworld for a few hours just looking for news, then went to lunch. From there actually worked on our emailer, but that entitled putting the different news clips into our emailer.
Then came home did some things then started watching TV. The best Sportcenter EVER was on. First Story:
Brett Favre and the Packers can't come to an agreement. HAHAHA So now Packers call Favres bluff by saying he won't come back if they don't reinstate him then Favre calls the Packers bluff by saying they won't let him sit on the bench. The analyst says its a total mess. haha
Second story: Basically whole Red Sox starting lineup, management staff are playing in the All-Star game.
Third story: Phill Uggla is 21 years old or something like that and is playing in the all-star game. He's like fist bumping Manny Ramirez.
Fourth Story: Josh Hamilton. This guys story is pretty crazy if you don't know. Alll-star phenom in high-school straight to major leaques, then down to drug addict, then back up to all-star in just a few years.
Fifth Story: Tiger Woods is not playing in a Major. One of the analyst has a quote that says "whoever wins will be like the mid-90s Houston Rockets, its like winning a NBA Championship without Jordan."
6th Story: Peyton Manning is gonna miss Training Camp. He probably fell down drunk at Chammps when he was kaorakee singing.
Oh and my boss sort of said I might have a job yesterday at lunch. But thats pretty iffy still. |
