Is anyone else as confused as I am as to weather or not they like their bi-level? I don't get what I'm confused about either. It's such a love-hate relationship.

i have progressed alot since i started riding the "bi-level" type decks. mainly because of the weight.
i find them terribly difficult to flip though.
now that i am more comfortable on a wakeskate an have more board control, i am going to ride a concave for a while.

Its all personal prefferance. For some people bi-levels are deffintaly their thing... i could never see reed hansen riding anything but that. although someone like nick taylor i could never see him shredding a bi-level.... personally i think its fun to shred a bi-level every once and a while but i could never ride one consistantly. Concave ftw. Personal Preferance.

I don't like anything else, and I rode an integrity for a long time, but the heavier board and the topdeck shape are not found in concaves....

Yeah, I wasn't asking which is better, that's in the eyes of the skater. I was venting my confusion of an unknown aspect of bi-levels that I'm not totally sold on.

brassmonkey, I'm sort of with you there. I love the soft feeling pop from bilevels but the weight is a little much for me.. I'm stoked on Stu's board coming out. It's so light for a bilevel. Seems like it will ride very well.

brassmonkey, i know exactly how you feel. i love the feel of bilevels but they are just too much board for me. they spin too slow for me.

Personally I don't think anything rides as good as an OG cassette bi. The only problem is IF you ever get to ride one and break it you'll have a hard time finding another one Crying or Very sad
