i just got my first grip tape wakeskate and i was wondering when i need to re-grip it if there is a certain type of grip that works best, or do you just go to your local skate shop and pick up a few strips of that?

Hey first post woohoo
just out of curiosity i just finished my first hand made skate and am almost done i just need to seal it and get some grip. Is there any industrial water-resistant grip tape at like home depot or lowes i could buy for cheap that works well?

Just trying to save myself a long trip to the skate shop or buying it on the internet

LemonWake, go to Home Depot for home improvement stuff. Go to a skate shop for skate stuff. You can find something grippy at Home Depot but it will work about as well on your skate as if you were trying to sand something down with grip tape from a skate shop.
And, welcome to the site! Got any pics of your skate?
