I wish more people wakeskated around here i only know on guy that wakeboards but wakeskates with me but he's out of town this week and i haven't skated in like a week and two days too long for me. but i guess i can work on my winch or get some wood and make a homemade board. anyone else bored.

Start your own scene then.

If you skateboard just go skate at a skate park and i'm sure you can meet people who would be stoked to try the sport. I'd also goto your local boat shops and ask the people who work there if they or anyone they know wakeskate. there are more people out there wakeskating than you would think. Starting a localized message board for wakeskating in your area can also help Smile

I've been having the same problem around here there are lots of Wakeboarders but not many Wakeskaters at all and none of the Wakeboarders seem to interested in skating. I know a couple guys that skateboard or used to skateboard so I've been working on getting them out on the water with me to try it out and get em hooked. I think as soon as my winch is done it will be easier to get them out there w/o someone bitching about the high gas prices

Parker, BLAIRWITCH, With living in OK you have to be a little more open minded on who you ride with. If you don't get to ride often b\c you only want to ride with wakeskaters then you just have to live with sitting at home. I have lots of friends that ride and when I say ride I mean most strap but it's whatever b\c even though you might be the only skater on the boat you still get to ride and have a blast. So don't be too concerned on who you are riding with and just get out there and rip but when you do get to take a set with a fellow skater then it's a plus!!

I know how you feel. I'm a recent convert to wakeskating. I've wakeboarded for a few years, and just recently tried a wakeskate. I loved it and am planning on buying one when I get back home. Unfortunately I'm stranded somewhere in Kentucky for the next 9 weeks. But after that I'll make it home and see if I can get my own skate.

The Nokomis scene is pretty big from what I see. I just got my friend back into it, he's already building rails and rails. But theres alot of people that skurf and strap around here and theres wakeskaters, I'm just to good of friends with them.

fastgreens, i wish i could ride everyday, if im lucky and my mom lets me i can go sometimes wen im with her (Divorced Parents = less time on water GHEY)
