Just to let you guys know that marriage isn't all bad....this week was our 14th anniversary. My wife surprised me with the following:
*Nite away from the kids - at a nice local resort so we felt a million miles away, yet close enough for emergencies.
*Lunch at the resort pool (charged to the Underhills)
*A wakeskating set at Shadow Lake (water was super choppy, but I didn't care)
*Pizza delivered to the lake for dinner.
*Somehow she managed to, thru a friend, get us some jacuzzi time at one of the homes on the lake, so we had our pizza in the jacuzzi.
*Sleeping in the next morning
*other things that are too adult to post here.

I knew someone would ask this. Last month was her birthday, and I set her up with a total surprise party with her girlfriends and i think this was the reason she too did the surprise thing.
She had been walking around the last few weeks going on and on about how she had a CRAVING for tequila. So I got her a four bottle Patron sampler from Costco. She loved it. Now my wife is not a drinker at all....suddenly she wants tequila. But I found out during our 'getaway' that this tequila can be a useful tool for getting me more time on the water....stay tuned.
