i would say any of them really just try not to get a shoe that is really bulky with padding b/c the padding absorbs sooo much water
so the less padding the better (in my opinion)
they really don't hav any classics with mesh i don't think
so i would say get some plastic toed ones b/c plastic doesn't absorb water |

I use to use Superstar II's but they did not have enough grip for me. _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

Don't worry too much about padding man, get a good comfortable shoe that you like. What really matters in shoes for riding is comfort, durability, and grip. The types of soles i see on Adidas shoes are usually either like a running shoe (curves up a lot near the toe) and of course the flatter skate shoe style, where it will often curve up a little near the toe, but not near as much as a running shoe (the skate style sole will also have more width, for more grip). Personally i like a little bit of padding. It makes the shoe more comfortable when dry and wet both, and when it's wet, the extra weight it gives your feet can be oddly pleasant. It almost seems to give a little more swing when you're doing shuv tricks and whatnot. Also, a shoe that uses too much mesh and is too light will generally lose durability, and make it feel like you're riding barefoot (less impact forgiveness and overall comfort).
Try on some stuff, do NOT worry about weight. No shoe will weigh enough in the water to really hinder your abilities. Make sure you get something comfortable and that seems like it will hold up.
hope i helped,

sibosero, The upper part of the shoe looks pretty nice, the sole would be my only concern. It's really slim and it has a bit of arch. It won't grip well at all. Here's an example of the skate-style sole i mentioned a while ago. http://www.eukicks.com/category/adidas-skateboarding
These are an example of the type of sole you might want to look at. If you're not set on getting adidas i'd really recommend some DVS's or other skate-specific companies. Check some skate-specific sites for some good shoes or styles that will work well, the link i posted above should help a lot in picking out a good model that will work. From there you can at least narrow your search and find some on ebay or at a discout store or something, or of course buy them retail if money isn't an issue _________________ - Evan Molina |

sibosero, I edited my post after going back to CCS.com and realizing there are no Adidas on the site. I put a new link too that has a lot of good looking Adidas models, anyways i think you'd be a LOT happier if you don't get the ZxZ's, at least not for riding. Shoot i'd get some for just walking around, they look steezy _________________ - Evan Molina |

i've skated in every kind of shoe you can think of with thick tongue's, no mesh, full mesh etc. it's nice to find a good combo of good drainage and comfort. alot of shoes have different leather finish with different colors. try not to get any "suede" style. but like everything else it's really all personal preference. i like the new byerly 3's and byerly2's, but im gonna try the morgan wake and see what's up. i think it would be nice to make a skate shoe with drain holes that go from the inside straight down through the sole. you could lose some mesh to add durability and comfort. maybe i'll get out my drill _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. mojo, That's what a lot of people on the site used to mention doing. They'd drill holes in the sole of regular skate shoes to help them drain, but after a while people stopped doing it i guess.. Seems like it would work if drainage is crucial to you _________________ - Evan Molina |

sibosero, The superskates look sick and i'd be stoked too if i had a brand new Zariel Suede is an option of course, but the only problem is that when it dries it becomes pretty stiff and smells like ass..
Once you get them wet again though they go back to being nice and comfy. I, however, often wear my riding shoes for walking around as well so suede isn't my thing. _________________ - Evan Molina |

sibosero, i'm sporting some adidas clima cool b-ball shoes. they're working perfect - they are light, they drain really well and dry quick too. their grip is baller
use the search button and i'm sure you'll find a picture of them (they are yellow).
in case you're not restricted to adidas skate shoes you might wanna check out their tennis or handball clima cool models. they might not look as fine but they work hella well! |
