It might just be me, but looking for a new board has to be the most frustrating thing in the world. there are soo many choices, and its not like every thing is a flat deck, so in some cases ur comparing apples and oranges. I just wish i could buy a new one every week, and collect them all

Meh.. It's hard, but the thing that sucks is that you can't really demo boards. I think my next board will be one that everyone says good things about like integ or 4trac if i can find one.

ok THE ABSOLUTE WORST THING ABOUT WAKESKATING is the WINTER/Offseason. I get to ride MAYBE 7 months a year max and I Fcuking hate looking out my window at 2 feet of snow. If i'm really lucky I might get out next month for some winching (no lakes will be thawed yet) and the last time I rode was in October 07. WTF?

consider yourselves lucky your only problem is choosing which deck to ride at the moment. Consider yourself lucky you've ridden this year...

...is when you fall and your skate shoots out 50-75 feet in the opposite direction of the boat. Then you have to swim forever. It still beats working though.

feelnjstfine, It sure does. I use to get frustrated but lately im just goin with the flow. I wasnt lucky enough to find wakeskating when I was younger and had more time but thank god I found it before I was to old to ride. Now im just happy to get out twice a weekend and shred. I have made alot of new friends that have the same love for the sport that I do. Some shred super hard and some dont but that doesnt matter because the love is there.

thefunky31, That is one of the raddest things about this sport. You can be out with the shreddinest of shredder or a total beginner, and everyone has total support for one another, true brotherhood ya know. Just seein "the stoke" on someones face is what it's all about, be it someone landing their first flip trick or thousandth all the way to seein someone get up and feelin the glide for the fist time. Love it.
