What grunge bands do you think where the best?
Mine are Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilotes and Pearl Jam

For mainstream I gotta go soundgarden. And early STP. I listened to punk and metal during the grunge era anyways.

Jesse, Agree that Melvins and Kyuss are two of the greats of that era though I consider them more stoner rock than grunge. Would definately have to throw Mudhoney into the equation. They farking rule!

haha ratm, distillers aren't grunge. smashing pumpkins is more alternative, not really grunge.

STP is amazing, Nirvana, screaming trees, etc. any 90's era rock/alternative/grunge is my favorite music. it's all i listen to.
