| Can someone help me. Whenever i do a shuvit i can only land on one foot. Its like im afraid to land with both feet. One leg feels longer than the other. However whenever i do them onto grass, i can land them everytime. Is it just that i'm scared to land it? |

i'm guessing it's your front foot that lands on it. there is a fear factor, you could split your testicles right down the seem get over it, u gotta put your balls out there when you're going for your first shuv. try cutting out into the flats.........flatten off, wait a second, now ollie and scoop that joker almost in slo motion. start popping them bigger and catching the board at it's peak at least 1' off the water, after you throw your shuv, your legs are all together and outta wacked...............u gotta bring them back to like shoulder width apart to catch the board and stomp her. _________________ dbanana wrote:

Yeah sounds like your scared. I had a friend that did them fakie all the time too. When I was learning I did em regular, but after I got it down I could do them fakie easier. My advice is to learn all tricks moving because its different while you're moving, so its kinda like learning tricks twice if you do them standing still first.
Are you popping of the tail or just kinda of spinning it around? _________________ I'm no scientist, but I do drink a lot of booze. |
