Lets say a certain someone creates a viva la bam esque scavenger hunt, and gets almost the whole school in on it. A couple kids are so excited about this that they let a teacher or two find out (actually since people are jackasses, like 5 teachers got ahold of the actual paper with a certain someones name on it)

Now I can understand the guidance departments concern when they see alot of these challenges, but to bring in the law enforcement is a little much, I mean only like 8 of the 70 or so challenges can really be considered illegal (steal 5 road cones, steal a parents car/keys(not really in a stealing kinda way), like 3 indecent exposures, one or two reckless driving, and destruction of property on a couple more)

The cop said that if I go to him first next time and get it approved there will be no problem, but I'm sure that it will end up kinda watered down and strait up gay.

So what i really need help with is that they are trying to make me accountable if anybody carries out with these "challenges" next weekend. I think they are just trying to muscle me around, but I need to now if I can actually get away with letting this go on without being charged, i think that the only way they can still get me is if i keep the entree fee up. Because technically if there is no entree fee, there is no contest.

School cops are d!cks. One of my favorite sayings to say around him is "do you smell bacon?". This cop pulled me over in the high school parking lot saying I was quote "burning out". That was a couple weeks ago, and as most people know, North Dakota has ice during the winter, which is why my tires were spinning. Not only was he pulling me over for a bogus charge, he tried to lie about it, saying there was an off duty deputy sherriff waiting for his kid to get out of class. The cop says quote "This officer watched you do it", and naturally I argued it. From where the deputy was parked there was a car blocking his view of my car when the tires were slipping. Anyways he takes my license back to his car, then calls my mom and tells her I've been doing quote "donuts" almost every day. (there is more than one silver honda accord at my school, so exactly how the hell could he see it was me if I and everyone else in the car when we were messing around couldnt see him) Then he brings my licence back and hands me his cell phone. I ask "whats this for?". And he retorts in a bad attitude "say hello". I flash him a dirty look and talk to momma, hang up give him his phone and say "you know, you sure have a serious attitude problem", and he retorts "thanks" and walks back to his car. As my buddies and I drive a way, we all give him the ol' one finger salute. My bro was harassed by the police, and I damn sure ain't about to let that happen to me. No matter what.

Rant over

Exactly my point, I was accelerating then pulling the e brake. Wink Sorry for not being able to help you out, but I guess your are not the only one who has d!cks for popo in your area.

By the way, I told him that was exactly why he pulled me over was to fill his quota, and he just shrugged sheepishly.

PS. I didnt get a ticket though after I said the above statement^^

you can in reverse Cool

if people think its a contest, then its a contest, doesnt matter if there is money involved, they are still doing these things, you should have thought this through really well before you went ahead with it, its not fun being on the short end of the stick with the law for any reason, only stupid people think the law is stupid, you should have respect for it, look at your list again, see what shlt on there you could possibly get in trouble for and take it off.

and in the future, i would strongly enforce the "dont talk about this in class" rule, when teachers find out, they are obviously not going to keep it to themselves, who knows what goes on in those staff rooms.

if i were you, i would almost say you're canelling it so the teachers may think its not happening, then when things quiet down, try it again, but come up with some sort of way that people dont talk about it like at school at all. treat it like fight clubs first few rules. maybe, if you hear somebody talked about it in class, they are disqualified.

VinceWhiteman, First rule of fight club.... don't talk about fight club....

and I still want it to have the contest feel to it, but what I was saying is that if there is no entree fee they can't prove that I was influencing these actions.

I'll take out the taking a parents car, and stealing road cones, but the streaking, stealing lawn gnome, and department store mayhem stay Wink

Oh, and when they were trying to show me all the illegal things, they had "Act like a Host(ess) and seat customers at a restaurant (extra 50pts if you get tipped)" highlighted as if it were also against the law. I SEE NO FOUL PLAY THERE!!

The problem is that you were already caught and you were already given a warning. This means that if you do go ahead with it and do get caught then you most likely will not get away with a warning...they will find a way to charge you with something, which is not what you want.

Even if you don't get caught directly and someone reports to the police that someones been stealing traffic cones, impersonating waiters, anything else that was on that list (that they most likely kept a copy of)...they're going to come to you first and again, if whoever saw you doing it could come forward as a witness and you could be charged.

The reason why Bam can get away with this stuff is because he's probably friends with a lot of cops in the area and/or can pay them off...you can't. If your plans hadn't been leaked and you had gone through with it you most likely would have been caught, but (depending on whether you had a previous record or not) you probably would have just gotten away with a warning.
