There you go, I don`t know when the Ambush ones are going to be out, I think these are better because theres more than one color and they dont have Ambush/buywake.com written on them and there original.

WaKeSk8Er1234, those arent them. those are just mesh dresdens...and last i checked the dvs wakeskate dresdens didnt have any ambush/buywake logos written on them...they are all white w/ gold stripes and gum sole.

MNwakeskater, you can buy them from buywake or ambush, and they should be available in a few days (i believe they said on the 20th was about when they should be out...).

scott a, On the top of the tounge of the shoe theres a buywake/ambush logo, but its a nice shoe too, but I`m just saying IMO I would rather get the ones for performance, I don`t like light colors in the lake it gets messed up quickly.

Those ambush dresdens on buywake look super hot Cool . I guess no one will know this since no one has ridden them yet... but any idea on how they compare to the byerlys? I was just about to pick up a pair of byerlys and now this kinda makes me rethink. Also, I'm hesitant to order shoes online because of sizing issues. I wear a size 10 skate shoe around normally (with socks of course). Would you go with a 9.5 or should I get a 10 to play it safe? Thanks guys

WaKeSk8Er1234, speaking of the ones from performance, i just got the black/red ones in the mail today. they look like they will drain quite well, but the tongue is pretty thick so thats gonna turn into a sponge.

well uhh guys guess what, they feel JUST like the white/red dresdens i tried on at the store. oddly enough they ALSO felt like a pair of brown ones...i think i see a trend here...haha ok ok i'll write something up as soon as i take them for a ride. problem is i'll probably be thinking about how the skate rode as opposed to the shoes... Wink

and there is a huge one page spread of the new DVS buywake/ambush wakeskate shoe in the new alliance mag Wink

comparison of mesh dvs vs my bro's byerlys. this probably means nothing, im just bored right now, as i was earlier when i decided to go to my bro's room and show him my new shoes and then he pulled out his byerlys. the rest is history. here is what went down- but buckle up kiddies because this is where it gets ugly.

if you are looking down inside of the shoes, it is easier to see through the sides of the dresdens than the byerlys. what does this mean? i dunno. maybe quicker drainage since larger perforations in fabric mean you can see through them easier, and larger perforations allow more water to travel through the fabric.

the tongue is much thicker (to be exact, about two to three times) in the dresdens than the byerlys. what does this mean? well after riding in my old es (which have similarly large tongues), i can tell you that the large tongues tend to store gallons of water in them.

the back part of the shoe that touches your achilles is much thicker on the dresdens than the byerly. this makes the dresden more comfy unless your heels dont need that much cushion/padding/support/etc in a shoe. if you dont need or want the support, then there is no real advantage to either shoe.

if you buy either of the shoes, you are supporting the guys that support wakeboarding and wakeskating. the difference is that the guys over at reef also happen to be the same guys that put out those KICKASS ads in the magazines as well as a pretty alright calandar. Wink

damn im rambling right now. after previewing this post i realized how long it is. and one more thing, just because i havent added enough of these mo-fo's already, take this! Wink
